Jitterbit Announces General Availability of Community and Professional Editions

Jitterbit Tackles Data Integration Cost, Complexity with Open Source; Announces New Customers

ALAMEDA, Calif. – May 22, 2006 – Jitterbit, Inc. today announced the general availability of the Jitterbit Community and Jitterbit Professional Editions. Jitterbit develops powerful integration solutions designed to reduce the cost and complexity of integrating key application data across a variety of common industry protocols and data types. Jitterbit also announced two new customers, The Marena Group and General Growth Properties.

Available in Open Source, Jitterbit addresses the growing demand for low-cost business integration technology in what Gartner estimates is a $1.45 billion application integration market. Jitterbit quickly creates new integrations with an intelligent interface that automatically discovers basic system configurations. This release also introduces “Jitterpaks” – consumable XML documents that encapsulate all aspects of a pre-defined Jitterbit integration. Jitterpaks bring the collaborative nature of open source to the world of integration, allowing users to import, export, and share their integration solutions.

“With Jitterbit, small and midsize businesses can finally address their everyday integration needs without the burden of expensive consultants or complex proprietary tools designed for very large enterprises,” said Sharam Sasson, president and CEO of Jitterbit. “Our goal is to make integration an easy, inexpensive, and collaborative effort.”

Jitterbit Announces New Customers The Marena Group and General Growth Properties
The Marena Group, a Georgia-based post-operative surgical garment manufacturer, needed a way to streamline data interchange with its business partners. With Jitterbit, The Marena Group receives orders and product information from its partners’ disparate systems, and is able to immediately translate and integrate the information into its Open Source ERP system, OpenMFG.

Jitterbit has saved The Marena Group countless hours of in-house coding. In addition, Jitterbit has helped The Marena Group increase customer service as electronic orders are now filled immediately, with no lag time. Marena Group’s future plans for Jitterbit include more Web to ERP integration and other projects as the company works toward a completely Open Source technology infrastructure.

“We are thrilled with Jitterbit’s ability to solve our integration and data transformation challenges so quickly and easily,” said Aleksandar Knezevic, IT director, The Marena Group. “We’re apparel manufacturers, not software developers - Jitterbit’s powerful integration solution and attentive product service and support makes it possible for us to focus on our customers and core business."

General Growth Properties (NYSE: GGP) is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that has been in the shopping center business for over fifty years. The second largest regional mall REIT, GGP owns, develops, operates, and manages shopping malls in 44 states totaling more than 5,000 employees and 24,000 retail stores nationwide. GGP grows via acquisition and uses Jitterbit to easily integrate data from a variety of formats into its JDEdwards system. GGP also uses Jitterbit to keep track of the daily transmissions from its banks – cash, collections, charges, and more – all of this information is sent from the banks to GGP and integrated into JDEdwards by Jitterbit.

“With Jitterbit, GGP is able to migrate the data from our acquired companies to our central JDEdwards system seamlessly and immediately, without disrupting day to day operations,” said Gary Kahnke, vice president of information systems, General Growth Properties. “These are key reasons why GGP uses Jitterbit – the absolute simplicity and reliability of its data integration capabilities.”
