A little bit about me. I've been working in IT environments for 14 years. However, my interest in computers began with the Apple II. The first program I ever wrote went something like this:

I'm certainly not the first person to profess the idea that IT is doomed because of its own bad decisions and failure to deliver measurable value to the business for the last 10 plus years. But this is a reality that is hitting home to more and more companies.
